It was a school holiday last Monday. My friends and I were very happy at Xuanwu Lake Park. The park is very big. We can do a lot of things there. Yang Ling and Nancy flew kites. Liu Tao drew some pictures. Helen brought some food and drinks. We had pies, sandwiches, chips, some fruit, orange juice and milk for lunch.
In the park, there are many trees and flowers, some butterflies fly in the flowers. The park is very beautiful. Do you like to go there?

One Sunday morning Mr Green and his child, Bill, are in a big shop. Mr Green wants to buy a new blouse for Mrs Green. The blue blouse is very nice. It's eighty yuan. Bill likes oranges, so his father buys two kilos of oranges for him. The oranges are four yuan a kilo. Bill wants to buy some picture books and colour pencils, too. But there are too many people in the shop. Mr Green says, "We'll buy them next time".
