In "Changes around us" project, students work in groups to find out the changes around us.
Group 1: Smartphone（智能手机）
Thirty years ago, there were no smartphones. People could only send messages（信息）or make calls with phones. Now people can see films, have classes online（线上）and buy things online with a smartphone anytime and anywhere. If you want to call a taxi, have a meal, go shopping or book a hotel, you can pay with it. That's cool.
Group 2: High—speed rail（高铁）
Before 2009, there was no high—speed rail in Wenzhou. People could travel by bus, train or plane. Now, people often go to different cities by high—speed rail. It goes much faster than a car. It takes us about 3 hours from Yueqing to Shanghai. It takes five hours and a half from Yueqing to Shanghai if you go by car.
Group 3: ▲
Before 2014, there were no shared bikes, People went on foot, by bus or taxi. Now, there are shared bikes. The bikes wait for you on the street. They are free for an hour. Going by shared bikes is good exercise. And it's a green way to go out, too. It is fun and cool.
Group 4: City Study
Before 2018, there weren't so many City Studies in Yueqing. People often read books in the bookstore or library. Now there are more and more City Studies all over Yueqing. Hongling Study is in a village of Lingdi. Guanchao Study is in Shenglitang Park. Wanqiao Study is near wan Bridge. They keep open till late in the evening.
