My little son, Mark, saved all his pocket money for over three months to buy holiday presents for those he loved. In December, Mark said that he had made his list and had twenty dollars in his pocket.
I drove him to a nearby supermarket. Mark picked up a hand basketball and went off on his own while I was waiting in the car. It took Mark over 45 minutes to choose his presents. The salesman told him how much he needed to pay then Mark reached into his pocket for his money. It was not there!There was a hole in his pocket, but no money. Mark stood in the middle of the store, tears rolling down his cheeks. His whole body was shaking with tears on his face. Then an amazing thing happened. A customer in the store came up to Mark. She knelt and took him in her arms.
"You should do me the greatest favor if you accept my money, "said the woman. "It would be the most wonderful present you could ever give me. I only ask that one day you pass it on. One day, when you are grown-up, I would like you to find someone you can help. When you help this other person, I know you will feel as good about it as I do now. "
Mark took the money, dried his tears and ran to the checkout counter as fast as he could. I think we all enjoyed our gifts that year as much as Mark enjoyed giving them to us.

"Being thin doesn't surely mean you are not fat" said Dr.Jimmy Bell at Imperial College.Since 1994,Bell and his team have tested nearly 800 people with MRJ to create "fat maps"showing where people store fat.
According to the result,people who keep their weight through the food they often eat rather than exercise are likely to have major deposits(堆积物)of inside fat,even if they are thin.
Even people with normal Body Mass Index(体重指数)scores can have surprising levels of fat deposits inside.Of the women,as many as 45 percent of those with normal BMI scores (20-25)actually had high levels of inside fat.Men were nearly 60 percent.
According to Bell,people who are fat on the inside are actually on the edge of being fat.They eat many fatty and sugary foods,but they are not eating enough to be fat.Scientists believe we naturally store around the stomach first,but at some point,,the body may start storing it elsewhere.
Doctors are unsure about the exact dangers of inside fat,but some think it has something to do with heart disease and diabetes(糖尿病).They want to prove that inside fat does harm to the body communication systems.
The good news is that inside fat can be easily burned off through exercise or even by improving eating habits. "If you want to be healthy,there is no other way.Exercise has to be an important part of lifestyle,"Bell said.
