In Lopburi, Thailand, there is an interesting festival—the Monkey Buffet Festival (猴子自助餐节). It is on the last Sunday of November and it is a great day for monkeys. People there think monkeys can bring good luck to them, so they have this special (特别的) festival to thank monkeys. Now, the monkey is one of Lopburi' s symbols.
Every year on that day, people prepare (准备) more than 300 kg of fruit, vegetables, cakes and even drinks for the monkeys. About 20, 000 monkeys enjoy their delicious food during the festival. People from different places come to see the monkeys on that day.
During the festival, there are a lot of interesting activities (活动) about monkeys. People always dress up as (打扮成) monkeys and they sing, dance and play music on the street. People take photos of the monkeys and play with them. Everyone has a great time there.
Monkeys are smart animals. They always live in groups. When they are in danger, they fight with their enemies (敌人). Most of them live in the trees. They are good at climbing trees. Monkeys can do some easy work for people. They can even work out some easy maths problems.

Today is grandma' s 80th birthday.
" I' m giving her a picture, " says Tony. " I take it with my new camera (相机). What are you going to give her?" he asks his brother Jeff.
" I don' t know, " says Jeff, " I don' t have a camera. So I can' t take a picture. "
Jeff goes into the kitchen. His mom is busy. " Mom, what are you giving grandma?"

Grandma puts her arm around Jeff. " You have the time to come and sit with me. That' s what you can give me, " says grandma.
Jeff sits close (靠近) to grandma. " Happy Birthday!" he says.

My home is far from our school. So I live in school from Monday to Friday. In school, there are many friends. We can (play) and study together. It' s fun. This term, school begins at 8:00. We have more interesting and fun things. On September 5th, we have a school trip. Everyone is happy.
I usually eat bread for breakfast at half past seven, then take a shower. After lunch and supper, I usually go for walks with my classmates for about fifteen (minute).
We have twelve subjects in school. I like English best! Our English teacher (teach) us a lot. And she is lovely and kind. We all like her. We have much fun in English classes.
In school, we don' t have too much homework. Sometimes, I go to the library to read books. I enjoy (read) there. Time goes (quick) when I read books. Now I am reading a book about animals.
