Long time ago, there lived a king. He never cared about his country and people. All his people didn't like him.
One day, the king went hunting in the forest. After some time, he felt thirsty. He came to a lake. When he drank water from the lake, he saw a swan(天鹅) standing on a big stone nearby.
"I want to catch the swan!" he thought.
As soon as he held up his bow(弓) , the swan was gone. To his surprise, he heard a sweet voice, "I am the swan. If you want to catch me, you must come to the wonderland. "
The king said, "Please show me the way to the wonderland!"
"Do good things for your people, and my messenger(信使) will come and lead you there," the voice replied.
With this in mind, the king dressed up and went out into the streets. He gave some money to a poor old man. After the old man accepted it happily, he began to chat with the king. When they talked about people's life in the country, the old man became angry and said, "Do you know why I'm so poor? It's because of our king! He has done nothing for us." Suddenly, the king heard the swan's voice again. "Listen! It seems that you are doing something good only because you want to go to the wonderland. That's not enough. The king realized this was true. He became responsible and worked very hard. Finally, he understood that making his country a great place was like making a wonderland of his own.
CIMON 2 is a computer assistant (助手). It was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 5th, 2019. It was designed to work there for three years to help astronauts. Actually, the International Space Station is a science lab in space. Usually astronauts stay in the ISS for five or six months. Can you imagine how boring it is to live in a small space with just five other people for six months?
So CIMON was created with two jobs in mind. One is helping astronauts with tasks. The other is trying to be "someone" astronauts can talk to. It is a robot with a face which was created by the European airplane company, Airbus. It can move where it needs to go.
Helping astronauts is easy for CIMON—it can see, hear, understand, and speak. Its "mouth" is a loudspeaker that can be used to talk or play music. The brain behind CIMON was provided by IBM. CIMON can understand not just what people say, but what they mean. CIMON can answer the astronauts, or use its screen to show pictures or documents. CIMON has several cameras, which can take pictures and videos to help astronauts keep records of experiments.
The more difficult part of CIMON's job is being a companion for the astronauts. The first CIMON could understand what people were saying and mastered more than 1,000 sentences. In one video, CIMON seemed to become confused(困惑) as Mr. Gerst spoke with another astronaut.
CIMON 2 has been improved so that it can find out how people are feeling. The goal for CIMON is to be a calm, trusted friend that astronauts can talk to when they don't want to talk with others.
Nowadays, we write things with a keyboard more often than that with a pen. For some people, they almost never write things by hand.
New brain research, led researchers in the Norwegian University, shares the same result. Here are the results.
"When you write your shopping list or lecture notes by hand, you simply remember things better," said Audrey. The study was completed using a machine to record brain wave activity. This is the first time that children have been tested in such a study. Each subject was asked to write by hand and type on a keyboard. Then the machine began to work. Each examination took 45 minutes for a person.
The results showed that the brain in both young adults and children is more active when writing by hand than when typing on a keyboard. .
Audrey believes that it's of importance for children to learn to write at an early age, especially at school. "Writing by hand requires control of your fine skills. " Audrey added.

It has a length of 2.78 kilometres. If you think that's long, you should see the Danyang-kunshan Grand Bridge in China. It's over 164.85 kilometres long! It's the world's longest bridge.
