There were several special people in my life. One was my Oma. "Oma" is German for grandmother. In my memory, she was strong, kind and tall.
In 2003, when we were on the beach in Florida she said she felt1, so she went back home and saw her2. After some tests he told her that she had leukemia(白血病）.
Oma was told she had several days to3. With courage, she4to fight the disease until the very end. She never complained, no mattecr how much5she was suffering.(遭受).

Oma's taught me a lot. She is the14person I have ever known.
15I have difficulties, I think of Oma and everything she went through. The doctors just gave her several days to live, and she stretched(延伸) it to nine months. She is the person that I will always admire and remember.

Wulong tea, also known as blue tea, is made from a mixture of green tea and black tea. It is said that people who drink Wulong tea can lose weight. Wenshan Baozhong Tea and Dongding Wulong Tea are two famous brands of this popular tea.
White Tea
White Tea is unfermented tea that has been quickly dried. It is lighter in color than other types of tea. Popular brands of white tea are White Peony and Silver Needle.
Imagine you're enjoying dinner with your friends at a nice restaurant. You're having a great time when suddenly you hear a phone ringing at the table next to you. A man takes out his phone and starts talking about problems he's having with his girlfriend. He keeps talking for almost ten minutes! How will you feel? Most musicians agree that the best violins were first made in Cremona, Italy, about 200 years ago. These violins sound better than any others. They even sound better than violins made today. Violin makers and scientists try to make instruments like the Italian violins. But many aren't the same. Musicians still prefer the old ones.
Some people think it is the age of the violins. But not all old violins sound wonderful. Only the old violins from Cremona are special. So age cannot be the answer.
Other people think the secret to those is the wood. The wood must be from certain kinds of trees. But the kind of wood may not be so important. It may be more important to cut the wood in a special way. Wood for a violin must be cut very carefully. It has to be the right size and shape. The smallest difference will change the sound of the violin. Musicians sometimes think that this was the secret of the Italians. Maybe they understand more than we do about how to cut the wood.
Size and shape may not be the answer either. Scientists can make new ones that are exactly the same size and shape. But the new violins still do not sound as good as the old ones. Some scientists think the secret may be the varnish (清漆). Varnish is what covers the wood of the violin. It makes the wood look shiny(光亮的). It also helps the sound of the instrument. No one knows what the Italian violin makers used in their varnish.
When a computer works on a group of programs, it can get very hot. Cooling the computer can cost a lot. So some scientists wonder what would happen if the heat from the computer could be used.
Large Internet companies such as Google and Microsoft have thousands of computers. As these computers deal with information, they produce lots of heat, so they need huge cooling systems (系统). These systems send the heat into the air.
A company in Holland (荷兰) thinks paying to make the computers work and then paying again to cool
them are a waste of energy 
So the company developed a special device(仪器，装置)—the e-Radiator.
Boaz Leupe, head of the company, says that e-Radiator works as a heating system and saves money. He explains that the energy is used twice—once to heat the home and once to cool the computer and that the users don't have to pay to cool their computers.
Five home owners in Holland are testing the heating system in their homes.
"We pay for the computer using, so, in that way, home owners get heating for free,"Boaz says.
Jan Visser is one of the home owners. "If you use the computer more, the e-Radiator producers more heat, "he says, "It cannot provide enough heat if you don't use your computer often." But he is ready to try it. It's a great help for his family.
The company says e-Radiators produce heat temperatures of up to 55℃. It says the system could save its users about $440 a year.
Stracey Truman works in the dining hall of Kingston Elementary School in Virginia, the USA. Recently, she has ra lot of letters. In the letters she was praised for her practice of writing messages of hope on bananas.
Early each morning, when students are still at h, Truman(坐下) at her desk and picks up a banana. Actually, 60 bananas or more. Then Truman writes message of hope on each banana, such as "Your future is bright." and "Never (放弃) . While doing that, she's very patient.
Truman(过去常常) do this for her kids. Then she decided that the kids at Kingston might be iin the idea as well.
"Although the banana peels might be (扔掉）after lunch, the messages will [riˈmein] long after school is over. That's most valuable thing. The won the banana peels can help students have more courage," said Sharon Shewbridge, the headmaster of Kingston.
So far, it has become very popular among kids. Kids who blunches from home are also coming to school with talking bananas from their parents. When the Dole Fruit Company heard about Truman's efforts, they decided to give bananasthe school, 540 bananas(总共）—one for every student. At the same time, Truman got some help from parentsfriends. Together they came up sayings and wrote them on each banana.
" I want them to have a good day in their school life." Truman said.
